TIME took the Vectran® enhanced structure of the ADH 01 and increased the amount of light and stiff Toray M40J and added Dyneema®, the world's strongest fiber, to create the most advanced BCS hybrid blend ever.
Bio-based DYNEEMA® fiber is lighter, stronger and smarter
Dyneema® fiber is 15x stronger than steel at the same weight and is so light that it floats on water. The promise of incorporating Dyneema® into carbon structures has been making headlines for years, but so far few manufacturers have succeeded in incorporating the material. TIME is different - TIME is not dependent on the availability of materials from major carbon prepreg manufacturers. By weaving its own braided carbon structures (BCS), it has been able to test strands of sustainable Bio-Based Dyneema® fibers since they first became available from DSM. And unlike the high temperature ovens used to cure standard prepreg frames, the lower resin temperature of the RTM injection process is well within the safe temperature range for Dyneema®.

Rij nu een aantal weken op een rode Time AdH 23 in de fantastische kleur chroma red. Heb al heel wat kilometers gereden, en iedere kilometer is een feest. Heb deze fiets gekocht bij Bike & Run in Zevenaar en ook aldaar laten opbouwen. Heb in mijn loopbaan al heel wat fietsen gehad, maar wat is dit een klasbak. Afwerking is helemaal top, en een hele comfortabele fiets om te rijden ook over klinker paden.
